The Highwayman is run by Alan & Alison Whelan.

"We were both working in nursing and had done for more than 30 years, we had always dreamed of escaping the 9-5 shifts and we decided to take the plunge and run our own pub. We have been running the Highwayman since the start of 2010, we both thouroghly enjoy the daily challenges and excitement every day brings. We have employed experienced Chefs and believe we have recovered the high standard and reputation expected of the Highwayman Steak house has previously achieved over the last 20 years. If you have tried the Highwayman before, we would love to see you again and we are confident you we will surpass your expectation with our new menus. All our food is fresh and prepared on the premises, we use local produce where we can. Our Steaks are sourced from CELTIC pride ensuring they are the tastiest you can get.
